“Syria To Be Divided Between Turkey and Israel?

After the Israel’s Strikes on Damascus Now it seems Syria can be divided between Turkey & Israel.

Introduction: In the aftermath of Israel’s recent attack on Damascus, Syria finds itself at a pivotal crossroads in its complex geopolitical landscape. With the rise of Turkish influence in the region and Israel’s growing military presence, the country is increasingly caught between two regional powers, both with their own interests and strategic goals. This article explores the implications of this shift, the dynamics at play, and what it means for Syria’s future.

The Context: Israel’s Attack on Damascus Israel’s recent military action in Damascus has raised significant concerns about the changing nature of Middle Eastern alliances and power structures. While officially framed as a targeted strike against Iranian interests in Syria, the attack has broader implications for Syrian sovereignty and its relationships with neighboring powers.

Turkey’s Growing Influence in Syria : Turkey, under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has increasingly asserted its influence in Syria, particularly in the north. The Turkish government has long sought to limit Kurdish autonomy in the region while pursuing its broader ambitions of regional dominance. With its military presence in northern Syria, the establishment of “safe zones,” and its backing of Syrian opposition groups, Turkey’s role in the conflict is undeniable. However, Ankara’s approach to Syria is also shaped by its complex relationship with Israel, with a mix of both rivalry and occasional cooperation.

Israel’s Strategic Interests in Syria : Israel’s actions in Syria are primarily driven by its security concerns, especially the presence of Iranian forces and Hezbollah along its northern border. The attack on Damascus can be seen as part of Israel’s ongoing campaign to prevent Iran from establishing a permanent military presence in Syria. With Syria’s government increasingly relying on Iranian support, Israel is forced to navigate a delicate balance—securing its own interests while avoiding direct confrontation with the Assad regime. Israel’s regional influence, especially in the wake of normalization agreements with several Arab states, also puts it in direct competition with Turkey.

Syria: A Divided Battlefield For Syria, the situation is precarious. The government of Bashar al-Assad, which has recently been vanished & rebels got control of much of the country, is now facing the growing influence of both Turkey and Israel. With rebels reliance on Turks support, Syria’s sovereignty is increasingly compromised. The delicate balance between these foreign powers will likely determine the future of Syria’s territorial integrity and political structure.

The Strategic Implications The divide between Turkey and Israel in Syria raises several key questions about the future of the region:

Will Syria be able to maintain its sovereignty, or will it become a battleground for external powers?

How will the Power of new regime of joint different minded rebel forces will form the government and how it will navigate its relationships with both Turkey and Israel while managing the delicate internal situation with various other silent opposition forces? And

What does this evolving dynamic mean for other regional powers, such as Russia, the United States, and Iran?

Conclusion: A Dangerous Crossroad As Syria finds itself increasingly divided between the competing interests of Turkey and Israel, the region faces a complex and unpredictable future. The country’s internal divisions, compounded by external pressures, leave little room for stability. The coming years will be critical in determining whether Syria can retain any semblance of unity or if it will remain a proxy battleground for regional and global powers. As a global analyst we think the new group of rebel extremist forces that have taken over the Assad regime, won’t stay for much long time as they lack maturity, cohesion and understanding of global dynamics, and hence Israel and Turkey are in their best time to easily divide Northern Syria & Southern Syria geo-politically. This division of Syria will also bring check & control on growing tension & terrorism in Middle East because of the strong administration of this super power governments of Turkey & Israel in their respective regions.
